TWO THREADS ONE STORY
The diaries weave together two parts of my world, life outdoors in the fields, woods and gardens and life at home by the fireside.
From hedgerow finds and country walks, to recipes, antiques, interiors, books, my personal style to the simple rituals that make a house feel like a home, each diary is a little snapshot of the season we're in.
It's a place to share what i'm discovering, making, growing, wearing, restoring and how the every day rituals I have created over time make even the most ordinary days that extra bit special.

New beginnings, garden notes
and the first things gathered and grown. Our Victorian home begins to breathe as the long winter months come to an end.
Long evenings in our Victorian courtyard garden, outdoor tablescapes and countryside walks with our spaniels and drives in our faithful Landy!
Hedgerows, preserving, baking and the return of the fire. Our home resets after the warm summer months for cosy evenings and snuggles.
Candlelight, old traditions, quiet cosy rooms and things made slowly. The build up to the festive season begins with heritage in mind always.

The Diaries give me somewhere to tell the rest of the story.
A recipe in full. The history behind something in our home. What I actually did with something I gathered from the hedgerows or garden, a place I want to remember or simply a collection of things that have caught my eye at the time.
They are intended to be read slowly, perhaps with a cup of tea or slowly brewed aromatic coffee, and returned to whenever you fancy.
